Does the UPS deliver on Sundays?

Asked by whitecarnations (1638points) March 25th, 2012

I’m pretty sure they don’t, but just in case do you know for sure? Thanks! A link would be greatly appreciated.

They do not, I’m afraid.

Yes they do but it is not part of the regular serive. You need to arrange specailly this with UPS head office directly. Also it is VERY expensive (I can’t even begin to expalin how amazingly expensive it is). The only things I have had delivered on a Sunday where urgent medical equipment that couldn’t wait till Monday and in each instance it has always appeared to be dopped off by one of the managers or something (the, er… courier was wearing a very nice suit and turned up in a pretty expensive car).

Only if you pay a huge premium to overnight something… but normally they don’t even deliver on Saturday, to my knowledge.

Yes, they do.

“Express Mail delivery is offered 365 days a year in many locations. A small premium applies for Sunday or holiday delivery.”

USPS

Normal hours do not include Saturday or Sunday, but you can use UPS Express Critical any day of the year.

I wonder if clarification is needed on whether the OP means The US Postal Service, or UPS, the brown uniform/truck company?

He worded it The UPS.

Answers posted are referring to both entities.

Yes @FutureMemory has a good point. I’m only asking about the UPS.
