I don’t want to read any phrases, I just wanted to know if any have change your life.

I thought this said “phase” and my response was going to be “liquid.” Too bad.

Ok, thank you. I’m curious of how many people are influenced by other people’s life experiences…

I have found several phrases important in my life and many people have had an influence on me. I think that is probably true for most people.

“Going into computer science is a waste for you.” Kind of weird, since I always thought I’d be a programmer, and it took me 4 years to admit to myself that I wasn’t doing what I really wanted. Even my high school history teacher knew I’d end up doing something in the social sciences. I remembered him saying it to me one day when I was staring at a block of code, and now I’m getting my PhD in anthropology. I still kind of missing coding a bit though ;)

The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.

“we are commited to our time”
walking with my aunt through the old town of vienna, her explaining me architecture and saying “modern architecture might not be as beautiful as classic architecture at the first glance, but it’s prove for the ongoing developments in arts and technology” . that’s when i was 8.

still i feel like we should be commited to our time, should try to leave traces of our existence… may it be architecture, art, technology, but also our very own lifes…

leaving traces in the stream of time, i guess.

- Concentrate on the solution, not the problem.
– It is not what happens to you, is how you handle it.
– Even if you are on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just stand there.
