What's the deal with the cellular networks around Dallas today?

17 April 2012—I’ve been watching the AT&T signal on my iPhone bee-bop up and down all day. Mostly it’s just searching for signal.

A friend on Sprint is experiencing the same thing.

Just a wild guess, but perhaps it’s due to a solar storm.

However, the following excerpt causes me to doubt the veracity of the above source: “Simply said… the earth will soon start to cross through the absolute center of the dark rift of the Milky Way around 12.21.12.”

However, the relevant assertion of the source is apparently corroborated here.

fyi… took my iPhone to the Apple Store after a couple days of seemingly spotty cell signal. They replaced it outright.
