Where can I find current sales tax information for my county?

Asked by likipie (1462points) April 20th, 2012

I Googled it and looked it up on Wikipedia, but I don’t know what any of that crap means. I just want to know how much sales tax is for my county (Spokane County, WA).

Are you in an unincorporated area of Spokane County? If so, it looks like your total (state adn local) sales tax rate is .081. If you are in the unincorporated area of Spokan County P.T.B.A or Public Transportation Benefit Area, your combined state and local sales tax is .087.

Does that answer your question?

@likipie Usually if you type in the state and tax department it will take you to the right place to find the info.
