Which Blackberry?

Asked by Cardinal (2931points) May 27th, 2008

My LG flip is about to go T.U. Have a chance to get a Black berry phone via Verizon. Don’t know for sure if I should. If so, which one: Curve, Pearl or 8800 series?

I’d get one of the iPhone variety :p

Pearl. I’ve heard very good things about it.

Pearl and Curve are virtually the same phone only the curve has the full keyboard over the suretype keyboard. Decide how much you will really use the keyboard and that will pick your choice. If you can wait the Bold should be released soon and that promises to be a great phone.

The Curve. Full keyboard. Having two letters on a button is simply annoying

Bold when it arrives – FTW.

I have to agree with sndfreQ and TheCouncil, those Bold units are looking very nice. Enough to dissuade me from getting an iPhone should they ever come to Canada.

@ TheCouncil sndfreQ & paulc

The bold looks very promising, if Apple doesn’t present something spectacular, I’m going Bold.

@crunch-yeah, I wouldn’t hold my breath on the Apple rumor for iPhone 2.0; the WWDC is primarily a software-driven conference, and the keynotes for this event aren’t typically for hardware releases, mainly software releases…fyi.

iPhone!

I have an iPhone and the Bold is still tempting. I dont know if I could go back to a smaller screen now. I have a blackberry for work and I may start the subtle suggestions for upgrades. Wish me luck.
