What do you make of this dream I had? (my turn to ask a dream question)

Last night I dreamt that I was trying to get back to where the guy I currently like was waiting. (He doesn’t know yet that I like him.) I had left some of my stuff there, and I knew he was due to be leaving soon, but I kept getting caught up in the maze of the building we were in. I knew he would wait around for me to come back and get my stuff, at least for a little bit, but I didn’t want to keep him waiting. Things kept happening to get me off track, and I just couldn’t make it back to that room. This went on for I don’t know how long, certainly much longer than he could have been expected to wait around. Every once in a while, I would see him at the end of a long hall, still waiting for me, but I just couldn’t reach him…
