How long has this been happening? If it’s more than a day, I’d take her to the vet.

Augustlan, its been happening for about 2 weeks /: I don’t know what to do..

Then you should definitely take her to a vet.

Well…clearly something is wrong. If she has not eaten for two weeks she should be dead by now. Is she very thin? Can you see a major weight loss? What do you mean she won’t eat anything you feed her? What ARE you trying to feed her?

What you DO is take her to the vet ASAP, she could have a hernia, a digestive blockage, or any number of life threatening conditions/illnesses.
Baby everythings eat, sleep and play. If any of these healthy behaviors are absent it’s a big CLUE that something is wrong!
If you can’t afford a vet then take her to a shelter immediately where she can be evaluated and you can potentially adopt her back after she receives care, or, she is humanely euthanized. Don’t be stupid, don’t be selfish…get the kitten some help!

She’s eaten some but its not really like a whole lot that’s why she isn’t dead. My friend told me she could be depressed? Is that possible?

@CrazyEmo Unlikely. It sounds more like she is ill or has an internal problem. Are her eyes clear? Is she sneezing, wheezing? Upper respiratory infections are common in kittens. Also, it is possible she has a disease called F.I.P. feline infectious peritonitis. It is a mutation of the Corona virus that most kittens get with no side effects. Common in very young cats, especially is she came from a cat crowded environment with poor sanitation issues.

Symptoms are lethargy, low to no appetite, and weight loss. It is incurable and they live about one month before dying. There is no treatment, sadly.
In the “wet” form you may notice bloating in the belly area, in the “dry” form the internal organs are effected without the fluid retention. I can only guess at some possibilities, you really, really, need to take her to the vet.

She could also be infested with parasites, tapeworms or other worms. A bloated belly and coughing are symptomatic, maybe seeing worms in her feces too. It could be anything from easily treated to seriously life threatening. Let us know how things turn out. :-)

I’m having my friends mother (she is a professional vet) check her out. I will let you know how it goes :) shouldn’t take too long.

@CrazyEmo Yay! Good job! We’ll be waiting to hear back from you! :-)
