Why can't I play all championships in WWF No Mercy for the Nintendo 64?

I am unable to play all of the championships in WWF No Mercy. The only ones it lets me play are the women’s championship and the Tag Team championship. The other’s are in a darker print and unable to be selected. Does anybody know why this is?
