Here is another common endgame scenerio, queen and king vs lone king. Here is a less common situation, and a little more difficult than the former two, king and rook vs lone king. These last two endgame scenerios are much less common than the other three above, and much more difficult to mate with: king and two bishops vs lone king and the most difficult situation out of the five posted here bishop, knight and king vs lone king.
