Can this desktop handle most PC games?

Asked by CuriousLoner (1812points) July 13th, 2012

Trying to get my little brother a new desktop, he likes to game, but I can’t afford a really high end one and I am not going to spend the money on a wal mart desktop.

I found this one seems pretty good and for the price.

Probably, yeah, but with the settings low-ish depending on the game. The graphics card delineates the low end of the Nvidia GT 500 series, so graphics-intensive games (Crysis 2, for instance) are most likely out of the question. Upgrading is probably an option pre-purchase, definitely an option later on. The processor is by AMD, they usually make good stuff.
Walmart.com has it for less money.

What! Awesome sauce. Only thing though is I use my amazon credit card for building credit :( I don’t believe I can use it on other places.

I go to wal mart never seen those types of desktops so figured they didn’t carry them.

I think it’s web-only.
