What are your thoughts on the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympics?

After reading about what more or less would be included and shown in the opening ceremonies, I got the impression this could be a lot of fun. I like that pop culture elements are being injected into it, though others may find that rather crass, maybe. But seeing possibly hundreds of flying wizards, nannies and Lost kids and James Bond with the Queen…well, wohooo!
