My hasn't cried in years, until a few days ago. He says that his tears gave him sharp pains in his forehead, does anyone know why?

Asked by themherme (194points) June 1st, 2008

My man never cries, we have been together for 2 years and 3 days ago was the first time I ever saw him cry, it wasn’t like a full on emotional cry but it was quite a few tears falling. When we left the church he complained of some pretty serious pains around the center of his forehead. I want to know if this is normal, or if has something to do with his tear ducts or sinus cavity or something

Whether or not the pain caused the tears or vice-versa, this doesn’t sound like something worth second-guessing. If you are able to, take him to a doctor asap…could be very serious emergency if it is neurological in nature…could also be psychological (depression, anxiety, other)...don’t delay.

He was probably really stressed out, or he had to much going on in his head, causing a headache from to much stress. Also when I cried because my Grandma passed away a while back, and I was so sad I was crying like never before. It caused really heavy “heartbeats” in my head giving me the most painful pulse ever.

maybe the pain came from trying to hold back the tears.
