Is Matthew Morrison gay?

Who is he and why do we care?

According to this interview with Elle magazine, Matthew Morrison is not gay. While I do know who Matthew Morrison is (@gailcalled, he stars in the television show Glee, if Milo enjoys watching twenty-somethings pretending to be teens singing and dancing their way through high school he is sure to enjoy it), I do echo @gailcalled‘s question and wonder, why we care.

Here is an interview with him. He says that he is straight. He was also engaged to a woman at one point.

There are many men on the planet that kiss another man. It doesn’t make them gay or bi-sexual. Granted, Mr. Morrison is an American, where this is a less common practice, but keep in mind that he is an actor and a GLBT supporter. It could have been staged for publicity. Who knows why? It just doesn’t matter in my book.

@SuperMouse You beat me to it. Did you read that article? What weird questions to be asked by the interviewer. I thought Mr. Morrison’s answers were kind. I would have had a different reaction.

I don’t know, but I think he’s a real cutie (I love Glee) and I love his singing voice!

I don’t know, but I don’t really care either. Is it really anybody’s business but his?

Not to discourage a new member, but wouldn’t it be easier to google the actor and draw your own conclusions than to join a forum and pose the question to a bunch of strangers who don’t know him?

He’s into musical theatre, yes, but in a purely literal sense.
