Best provider of Exchange email?

Asked by davidshoukry (434points) August 1st, 2012

I currently use Go Daddy for my hosted Exchange email. It is slow and down sometimes. I’m looking for an excellent provider to change to, reliable and reasonably priced. I only need the account for me, so no corporate level stuff, but I need it to be quick and reliable. I have Googled for it but of course dozens come up in the search results.

Any advice from actual users out there? Thank you.

Take a look at Fastmail.fm

It’s run by some real smart folks who are absolute email mavens. They couldn’t find a provider which met their needs so they decided to create it.

They’ve gotten very good write ups from the NY Times as well as others.

There’s also a Forum where the founders are regular participants and will answer users questions.

Their rates are quite reasonable and they’re constantly making improvements.

They also have free accts. I used them for years prior to GMail coming along.

The main reason I switched to GMail was because of the HUGE amt of free storage space. But I still keep my Fastmail acct. for sentimental reasons.

Look over their details. I think you’ll like them. Plus, they have a bunch of other domains available for addresses in addition to the .fm designation.

Believe it or not, VistaPrint does it. Here is the link for their pricing. It literally starts at $4.99/mo. You can try it for free for a month I believe, so it’s at least worth a shot to see if it’s any good. I haven’t heard anything bad, but I haven’t tried it yet either.

Do you really want exchange (as in Microsoft Exchange) for just one user? If so I am going to say Microsoft Hosted Exchange they have two plans one for 4.00 and one for 8.00 a month per user

Otherwise if you are just looking for a service to host your email I like NameCheap I use them to host my websites but the link I provided is just for email service.

You can look for the Rackspace for the exchange service provider as this one is voted as one of the best exchange hosting provider by the Redmond Magazine.
