When using RDC why must I keep adjusting my office windows?

Asked by victord66 (201points) August 8th, 2012

I use Windows Remote Desktop to work at home. Both my office and home pc’s are set to the same resolution, however my home monitor is about 1” taller than my office monitor. This means that while using RDC and open applications at home some of them open to the full height of the screen. When I get to the office, these apps are off the bottom of my monitor and I then have to resize them to fit the office monitor. The biggest offender is Firefox. Before the last upgrade to 4.0.1 I don’t remember it doing this but now it does.

Is this normal or is there something I can do to prevent this?
