With an 8MP camera what are the maximum dimensions of blowing a photo up physically before it becomes extremely pixalated?

You know, like taking a photo and getting it printed out at Kinko’s or something? How big could it get before looking thrashed assuming the photo was super crisp and clear when transfered onto the computer for editing. Thanks!

300 pixels per inch is a resolution that looks as smooth as properly exposed, slow speed, unpushed film.
300 ppi is 90000 pixels in a square inch.
8 MP is 8000000 pixels. 8000000 divided by 90000 is about 88 sq inches.
8×10 is 80 sq inches
You could get an 8×10 out of 8 MP and it would look like a high quality photo print.
