5 weeks off pill why do I have no period?

Hello, I am 21 years old and have been on the pill for 3 years. I am not sexually active anymore. I stopped last month on the 28th got my with drawl on the 1st of August. And I believe I ovulated near Aug.18th. Its been nearly two weeks since I believe I did ovulate. I am experiencing sore nipples which I would normally get a few days prior to my period. and mild cramping (I think. I also get stomach problems too so hard to tell) off and on. Does it seem probable my period is on its way or are these just side affects? I realize it can take up to X amount of months before my body gets back to normal however I am really sure I ovulated. Could anyone help? Just want to feel normal again. Has anyone hear got their period about a month after stopping the pill?
