Halloween Decorations: What's Scary about Computers/Radio?

Asked by unused_bagels (1749points) October 26th, 2012

I’m in the navy, working with computers and radio. We are decorating the passageway outside of our shop with an IT guy with a laptop, moaning “Let me update your computerrrrrr!” and “Your computer is due for updaaaaates!”, creepy ambient noise, white lights turned off (red lights on), and need to decorate the door.

We’re limited on funds, and pretty much can use markers and this big roll of paper we have. What do you think we could do for the door so it is computer-themed and scary?

You could probably use a small LED light and a print out, to make something like this.

Good one @poisonedantidote! I was going to suggest re-creating an ad for this product.

@unused_bagels I find that all-new operating systems are really scary. Especially this one, which is really different from the past. A whole bunch of new things to learn.

How about BSoD? Blue Screen of Death. That usually frightens even the most stoic users.

Oh, good one, @LuckyGuy! By the way, I wanted to thank you for posting the link to the Ina Gadda Davida drum solo. Brought back great memories!

Have a giant monster with the name tag SPAM, or better yet a dozen SPAM monsters.
