Do you have this homemade ice cream recipe?

Years ago a guy in our office would make the most delicious homemade ice cream and bring it in for everyone. It was yellow in color, and had maraschino cherries and (I think) pecans, and he got the flavor extract from the south somewhere. I don’t remember what it was (butter pecan, black walnut?). Does anyone have a recipe like this, or something similar?
