Two weeks after job interview: should I call?

I had a job interview 2 weeks ago and I’m getting really antsy waiting to find out whether I got the job. When I submitted my application, I got a call for a preliminary phone interview within just a few days of submitting it. The interview went really well and on the following day they called me back for an in-person interview for the next day. That, too, went really well and the hiring manager seemed really impressed with my resume and interviewing skills and told me that I definitely had the experience and personality for the job. At the end of the interview I asked her when I should expect to hear back from her and she said within 1 to 2 weeks. As soon as I got home I sent her a thank-you email.

Yesterday was the 2-week mark since the interview and I still haven’t heard a word. I really want to call her to check in and make sure she still remembers me, but I don’t want to seem too pushy. Should I give her a few more days or should I call today? If so, what should I say so as not to sound pushy and impatient?
