Something that involves exercise with healthy meals? What kind of schedule will lead me to my goal?

It all depends, how overweight are you. It is strange, the larger you are, the easier it is to drop the weight. So depending on if you are obese and losing weight to achieve a normal weight, it will take less time than if I was to attempt to lose only six pounds.

The tips that I have are, make many small changes. Eat a meal about every four hours, but have them be small. Additionally, I would highly recommend any type of cardio workout, that burns the fat the quickest. My personal favorite is running and that helped me drop about 5 pounds in the past. Good Luck.

A question that everyone asks. Welcome. Here’s one with many hyperlinks and ideas, all of them the same; eat less, eat more plants; move more.

I’m 5’ 11’’ and 200lbs.

Same answer; more fruits and veggies; less food and shake your booty. 1 to 1.5 lbs per week, after the first flush of excitement (first week). So that’s about four months. How old are you? Usually losing and keeping weight off means a rethinking of what and how you eat and sticking to the change in eating habits. (For starters, eat no white food except cauliflower.)

I’m 15 years old, does it make a difference compared to say a 25 year old?

I would suggest Weight Watchers. You really learn how to eat healthy while having a lot of flexibility. You also learn a lot about portions, eating out and more. When I was your age, I went on WW and the weight stayed off until I got pregnant at age 34.

@Crunch; at 15 you should have a fast metabolism. Check out what and how much you eat. You can probably figure it out yourself. Big Mac = bad. Apple = good.

Here’s a typical, sensible site. They all say pretty much the same thing. Stay away from the “miracle diets”. Getting thinner

try weight watchers points system. I know lots of people who have had huge success with it. From what I have heard, it is easy to eat out and not cheat. It also gives you a great support system. Good luck.

Everybody here seems to have the same idea, and I concur. I went the slow way, cutting soda and sweets from my daily diet (it was way harder than quitting smoking, but hang in there for a week or so…), eat four meals a day and started walking to work. It’s about half an hour each way, so I get about an hour total a day. It’s not the quickest way to lose weight, but it seems to work well, because it’s about making small lifestyle changes that add up. (Best bit: I save a bunch of money!)

This is a great website to use to track your goals. They have a great community and a lot of helpful resources. Oh and it’s free I actually lost quite a bit of weight using the adult site myself.
