In life in general do you consider yourself a leader or a follower ?

As far as I’m concerned, honestly, a little bit of both—I wouldn’t consider myself to be a 100% leader because I don’t have that kind of alpha personality to lead people… however, when things are going wrong in either a group effort or people just aren’t making the right moves (especially in a work context), I tend to be the first to jump up and start telling people what to do in order to make things right again, so I take the leadership stance temporarily.
At the same time, I’m not much of a follower either because I’m too open-minded (and perhaps a little narcissistic) to follow someone else’s patterns or orders without a little bit of my own input as well. If it isn’t in a work context, half of the time when people tell me to do things, I tend to do the exact opposite.

Which way do you see things going from your perspective on the big picture?
