Is there any way possible to not get notifications for posts that have been spammed?

Just expressing a wish, here… I just logged in and had 12 notifications, several of which were older posts that had been spammed, and the spam had already been moderated.
Is there any way that the moderator could trigger a mechanism to undo notifications for activity they remove?
