How good are you at dealing with your extremes of weather?

As I sit here in a cold yet sunny Scotland and look at the 75% of the country that is covered in snow it made me think about how I deal with the extremes of our weather.

I like to think that I am quite well prepared for winter with salt for the paths, snow shovel, various clothes for the colder weather and other things that just makes it that bit easier. I do not mind the cold that we get and kind of like the part where you go back into the warm after being in that cold and I actually hate the rain more than the cold.

So how good are you at dealing with your weather? Are you the type that is prepared or are you the type floundering and never sure what has hit you?
