They said beginning of July. I am guessing that it becomes available before the new iPhone 3G and that comes out July 11 so some time before that.

and also, since not everyone is a huge nerd like myself you should put iPhone 2.0 not just 2.0, and you should list more topics to get a better chance of having it answered

Hmm should I get the 2.0 on my currant iPhone while I save up for the new one, is it worth it?

Given that the 2.0 Software is a freebie for existing iPhone users,
I’d say it probably was worthwhile upgrading while you save, as it doesn’t cost anything and nets you new features.

P.S Shouting in capitals doesn’t make you gangsta.

The 2.0 Update comes out July 11th, in addition to the apps store and the enterprise support for all existing iPhones. The SDK update, however, for the iPod touch is 9.99$.

where does it say that the update comes out july 11, and the ipod touch update is 9.95 not 9.99, not that it makes much of a difference
