Did the anti-Christ just wink at me?

Asked by mazingerz88 (28790points) February 1st, 2013

For years, I’ve been loading money on my metro card using a credit card in one of those machines here at the Metro station. Just a few minutes ago, it won’t let me load past 67 bucks. First time this happened. When I used it, the remaining value on my card read 66.6 bucks. What do you think really happened? Thanks as usual.

LOL! It’s called… coincidence.

Karl Rove must have been passing through the station.

2012 was one of the hardest years of my life, seriously, and I told my husband we should have known when our mortgage payment changed to $666.

A jam-packed Metro car can certainly be a little slice of hell.

Whenever I go to Subway, I always get the same sandwich and a drink. It always costs 6,66$. I decided to keep getting the same thing because of the price.

Worth it.

Haha…the same thing that coincidentally happened to me a few years ago when I wrote out a check to the IRS that just happened to be check# 666 with 2 little pigs in a trough picture on it. lol
Those farm animal checks worked out great! haha

No I don’t think so. The number of the beast is significant but I myself don’t think it specifically means the actual number 666. At least I don’t think so. To me the number of the beast could be something like Hitlers Swastika, which before he took the symbol it actually meant “good” and then he changed it and used it for evil, and people wore that symbol to show their devotion to him and his evil doing and they too committed evil while they wore that symbol.

Revelation 14:9
9“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,”
10“The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb

@nofurbelowsbatgirl That’s freaky when I think about Charles Manson. :/

@Symbeline Yes. :/

Evil is all around us in many forms. I myself am not sure who qualifies or what qualifies as the mark of the beast but one can only wonder. For all we know it is numeric. I, on the otherhand, choose to think evil is more bad than just a simple number, but who am I.

livelaughlove21's avatar

@filmfann That’s what I was thinking. I’d love a $666 mortgage payment.

Berserker's avatar

@nofurbelowsbatgirl Well evil has always been around, and will be until mankind ends, so I also don’t think that evil can simply be left at some symbol. And if there is some beast and it has a mark, that can be many things in man’s history.

livelaughlove21's avatar

@Symbeline I was actually referring to the low mortgage amount, not a mark of evil…

@livelaughlove21 My last post was meant for @nofurbelowsbatgirl, which I’ve fixed. take that, ten minute editing limit bwaaahaha Sorry bout that.
