Does Charlotte, NC have a southern feel to it when you visit?

If you’re from somewhere that isn’t in the South, probably so. To Southern people, it seems more urban.

You won’t find Mayberry there, but you might hear some Southern accents, see a Wal-Mart at every exit, and eat at a Waffle House.

Not particularly.

The actual city of Charlotte? Not at all, IMO.

Charlotte, NC has shirtless men in pickup-trucks with gun racks and a dog-house in the back come in from time to time like a black bear that wanders into the city. It is only as southern as the amount of surrounding area which strays into it.

I live in NC and Charlotte is just like any other city, northern or southern! You want southern feel to a place try the smaller towns!
