Controlling iBook with Apple Remote?

Just wondering if there was any way to control my ibook with an apple remote, via my ipod dock. And no, I don’t mean control my ipod with the remote, I mean the actual computer…

iBooks dont have the capability as far as i know, there may be a hack as infrered technology isnt anything new, But the apple remote is designed to work with Front Row and computers designed since that inception

People were trying to produce a hack for this for a while, but then Apple expanded Front Row and IR support to most of their Mac computers and the communities gave up.

Maybe there is something, but nothing that I know of.
