General Question

Does anyone know any other scanning software for Mac OSX other than VueScan?

I have a HP scanjet 7400c. It’s fairly old but it’s a good scanner overall. I can’t find OSX drivers for it anywhere except on the HP site but they only send it to USA and Canada (I live in the UK). Anyhoo, I can’t purchase a serial for VueScan because they don’t accept paypal and I don’t have a credit card. Are there any other choices out there??

Well I have an Epson scaner but it comes with its one software perhaps you should get a new scaner, they don’t cost too much and since your one is a bit old.

True… but software is cheaper and my scanner probably works just as well as a new ‘cheap’ scanner. It was top of the range (ish) about 4 or 5 years ago.

OK I just figured I’d try it myself and it says

“We’re sorry but the PayPal Plug-In is currently only available in the United States and is not offered in any other country at this time.”

Crap! And it appears to Windows-only either… Too bad :(
