What's the best DVD ripping software for windows pc that also converts for playback on iPhone and iPod?

I’d like to rip movies I own to my pc and then also play on my iphone or ipod.

Have you tried Handbrake? I prefer Mac, so I haven’t checked out the Windows version, but I can’t imagine it’s very different.
