NSFW: Who'd care to re-examine the Oscar's Opening Number with me?

Asked by zensky (13418points) February 25th, 2013

For medicinal purposes – as it is said we require 15 minutes of boob time a day.

This song by Seth McFarlane is very helpful in that it gives us the exact movie coordinates for movie boobies.

Too bad there isn’t something that tells you the exact minute in the movie – which would be a big time saver.

Horrors! I started watching late and missed that little titty ditty. Truly tasteless!

All 21 original clips mentioned in the song. in a handy drop down list on the right.

I love technology.

What is he, 13?

Technology is fun and great for this – thanks @Imadethisupwithnoforethought@janbb did you say titty? Tee hee.

@chyna – you know – we’re all 13 year old boys. All of us. Even MattBrowne. Even Obama. Boobies will make us crazy like a little zit-faced horny 13-year-old kid again.

Just the fax ma’am.

Hey, the women aren’t innocent. They got paid to show their boobies. Except for Jennifer Lawrence. She’s got class. just sayin’

@Imadethisupwithnoforethought & @zensky Yeah, technology is awesome for providing quick links to rape scenes so you can catch a glimpse of boob.

This is making me sick. Shame on you.

Imadethisupwithnoforethought's avatar

@glacial I didn’t actually watch them. There are rape scenes? Ick. It doesn’t say that.

That’s the thing about tits, they make us blokes 13 again, all starry-eyed & lost in a gormless trance…contented sigh.

@jonsblond said boobies.

jonsblond's avatar

I made @chyna say boobies

Who the hell isn’t `13 around here?

The moment of Jody Fosters boob is from a movie where her character is raped. She isn’t actually raped. There is a huge difference. She is also topless in Nell

By the way, in an attempt at fairness, I should mention you can see Tom Cruise’s wiener in All The Right Moves.

I was all excited when I saw Captain Kirk and then they ruined the skit by doing that dumb offensive boob song. The rest of the opening with the soft shoe and other dance numbers was great.

I really liked Seth overall, but hated some of the jokes.

The entire show mostly what I was thinkinwas how much Seth looks like Peter Brady.

@filmfann “The moment of Jody Fosters boob is from a movie where her character is raped. She isn’t actually raped. There is a huge difference.”

I think what you’re saying here is that the link shows a different scene from The Accused (i.e. a scene in which she happens to be nude, but not that scene), and you may be right about that – I can’t find a link for “nude” and “The Accused” that isn’t on a site called something like “forcedsexsceneshere.com”. I am curious to know which scene it was. But to be honest with you, no I don’t think there is a difference. There is something really disturbing about replaying scenes from a movie to giggle over an actress’s body when the movie is about her being raped. You shouldn’t have to reach very far for the analogy. If you have any respect for the actress in that role, don’t use this performance for tittilation. Just don’t.

The scenes linked in the link provided by @Imadethisupwithnoforethought include a scene from The Accused, not a topless scene from Nell. My comments were about that link, not about MacFarlane’s song. I will say that MacFarlane could, without difficulty, have come up with enough examples of Hollywood actresses who bared their breasts without a few of those examples being from movies in which the leading characters were raped. He made stupid choices.

I have to agree with @glacial no difference. But, my husband also doesn’t understand why when I watch a movie of a woman being raped why I get so bithered by it, he says thing like, “it isn’t real,” and it just pisses me off. First of all, sometimes it is a true story, secondly, women identify with the character. Plus, so many women have been sexually abused and raped, a scene like that affects a huge number of women.

If there was a difficult time of war scene and soldiers with PTSD said they could barely watch it, brought back all the fear and dread would we say it isn’t real? Why do you think PTSD from being raped would be different?
