Lots of other factors we need, such as accident history, marital status, miles to work, etc…

It varies widely by state and driving record. There are several online companies that will offer you quotes if you give them the specifics they need.

It not your age.
Where do you live, do you have a recent a traffic conviction, any accidents, how far do you drive everyday, is this a “Weekend only” car?

You also have to factor in the value of the car. An ‘86 is considered a “classic” since it is over 25 years old. So it’s value goes up and the insurance goes up too.

$2709 a year, if you live in a dicey neighborhood in Philadelphia. Wow. Not bad at all. I thought it would cost much more. This was Liberty Mutual. Single. Bachelors Degree. Employed 4 years.

In NY state, a car that is 25 years or older can be classified as Historic or Vintage if you drive less than X miles per year and bother to change your registration . The insurance becomes very cheap. Are you going to drive it a lot? Does your state havea similar program? It is worth checking.
I registered one of my motorcycles as Vintage and it only costs $52 per year!
