What country is doing the most to help improve water pollution?

Asked by kb12345 (435points) March 1st, 2013

I’m doing a speech on water pollution directly effecting animals. I have found a country that is doing very poorly with helping fix water pollution. I need to find a country that is trying hard to help make pollution less of a problem. Does anyone know what countries are doing so? If so could you please provide a link on it, I’m at a road block right now!

According to what I have read, the answer has to be the country of Norway.

The goal should be to reduce water pollution rather than to improve it!

All of northern European countries.

Sweden holds a water prize every year. I only know this because my father in law sat on the committee for years. Have a look: http://www.siwi.org/prizes/stockholmwaterprize/
