None yet, but I love my Roomba. I named it “Mildred”. I’ve thought if painting hot-rod flames on the side.

Do you have any other suggestions?

I got a free 550 a while ago, but it needs a new battery. If I fid the $40 work the investment I’m thinking of swapping the brush for a saw blade, maybe using an arduino to react to sound or something, but basically turning it into a killer robot XD

I modified mine by taking it to the Goodwill.

I’ve been considering getting one for midweek fur and dust management, are they worth it?

@hearkat They seem to be pretty good, that being said I’ve never had mine working actually, but they run a good aount of time, more if you build your own battery pack with more life to it, and for dust and stuff on the floor it should do fine. I’d look up some reviews though.

Get the 650, middle of the road. 500 series are outdated, and anything lower than 650 will not have the scheduling feature. At that series, they are totally worth it if you run them everyday. Mine rests on Saturday, but my house is finally spotless. I don’t have to dust often anymore, which is a nice side effect!

I own a cat who sheds a carpet a week. Lol.

Also, the 700 series only differs on one feature.

To make the battery cells last forever (instead of a few years) you need to add diode protection to each cell. I tried to do that but my soldering iron was too wimpy.

Not necessary on later models.
