Does this look like a legitimate shopping website to you?

Link.

I have had issues with the checkout and when I called customer service, no answer.

Tough call.

On one hand, they have registered their domain anonymously so that you can’t find out the name of the owner. This is suspect to me.

On the other hand, they have been around for 7 years, so chances are they would have been stopped by now if it was a scam.

The site looks very badly designed, kind of amateur and scamish looking, but they have bothered to protect their customers with 256 bit encryption, a good thing.

If I had to bet, I would say that they are probably safe, but a bit amateur, a small operation. However I don’t rule out that it is a scam being run from a hotel room in China or something.

A bit iffy I would say and possibly connected to this enterprising lady

Looks really shady. They have very little contact info, no physical address.

Their supposed “parent company” , MEG enterprises only has a PO Box for an address.

Plus there’s not really a lot of the usual trust signals there, and there’s very little to be found about them in Google. But these guys are involved in some very spammy stuff and web marketing tactics.

These guys don’t care if Google penalizes them, and are willing to risk that in order to spam the crap out of the world and hope to get some suckers through their doors. Places that operate like this have no concern for their business, good name or brand.

My spidey sense is telling me to stay far away.
