Which drama or movie do you consider to be the closest thing to how people actually speak where you live?

Asked by dumitus (657points) April 1st, 2013

I ask this because when I’m watching korean movies, none of the actors speak the way I do or people around me do. Maybe because I’m living where a severe dialect of korean is spoken. Is this the same case in US? I should know this because I don’t want to end up speaking like some nerd who tries to sound too cool~~

Maybe Zach Braff’s “Garden State.” Certainly not “The Sopranos!”

I’d say maybe Madea… I live near the ghetto every time a car passes by my house I’m afraid of getting shot (no, not really).
