T-Mobile Family Plan Subscribers: Can other people on your plan send payments directly to T-Mobile?

Asked by drdoombot (8145points) April 5th, 2013

It seems like it might be worth setting up a family plan for me and my brothers on T-Mobile right now:

1st line: $50/month
2nd: $30
3rd: $10
4th: $10

So for $100/month (or $25 per person per month), we each get unlimited talk and text and 0.5gb data. This even beats the plans from Straight Talk and Simple Mobile.

However, I can imagine already how annoying it will be to bother my brothers to send me their monthly cut every 30 days.

So, if you’re in a T-mobile family plan right now but you are NOT the main account holder, can you answer the following:

1. Can you access my.t-mobile.com with your number to see the particulars of the shared plan?
2. Can you directly make payments without having to go through the main account holder?

It would save so much trouble if I could have other people on the plan just check the account themselves and directly pay without involving me.

Yes, they will need to be set up as authorized users on the account.

Anyway, anyone can get on the web page with the password. They will also accept payment from anyone they just need the account info.
