Can anyone explain to me what the whole "FEMA Camp" conspiracy is supposed to be all about? The who, what, when, where and how of the whole business (see details)

Asked by lillycoyote (24865points) April 21st, 2013

Where are these FEMA camps?

How many of them are there?

Who, exactly, is going to be rounded up and sent to these FEMA camps and why, for what purpose?

Who is going to do the rounding up of the people who are going to be sent to these FEMA camps?

And what happens to these people, once they are put in the FEMA camps?

I certainly don’t believe it, but I also don’t get it.

I am particularly interest in the who and why of it.

Can anyone give me an outline of it so I at least know what the people who believe in this thing are thinking?

Alex Jones, a certified conspiracy theorist, has much to say on this subject.

Of course darling… I could tell you… But then I’d have to…

… well… no fate for a friend dear.

Just keep paying the illegal income tax without complaint. Praise corporate influence on civic policy. Rejoice in the ignorance of an enslaved society under a bankers heel. Scoff at injustice exposed by Wikki Leaks. And don’t concern yourself with disappearing neighbors who refuse that advice. They’re going to a better place.

LOL. My very, very dear friend, @RealEyesRealizeRealLies, So wonderful to see you again. I have been away from here for a while. But don’t tell me, if you’d have to kill me, but you’re definitely in my top 10, maybe even my top 5, of people who I would want to kill me, if I had to be killed,
because I knew too much. :-)

I guess, once again, Fluther has said: all is forgiven RealEyes, you’re welcome back, just behave yourself, and if you don’t… don’t let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.

Thanks @Paradox25 I will have to read that in depth and, painful as it may be, watch the videos, I guess. I’ve the Halliburton bid/contract document before. It’s a bid for “camps” that will provide for between 300 and 2000 people a day, in case of an emergency.

I suppose the government is trying to lull us into complacency by referring to the food services as “catering.” A term not generally used when talking about forced labor camps, Poor FEMA, they just can’t win. They, the government were woefully and so inadequately prepared to provide housing and shelter for the nearly, I think, 1,000,000 people left homeless along the Gulf Coast by Katrina, but if they try to prepare, they get nothing but shit from the conspiracy theorists.

Like I said, as painful and aggravating and infuriating as it may be, I will have to wade through all this crap if I want to understand what these people think is going to happen.

The population of the United States is almost, at this point, 316,000,000 people. Interning a mere 5% of Americans, 15,800,000 in FEMA camps built to accomodate 2000 people… would require 7,900 camps.

I’m very interested in the logistics of how this is all supposed to play out, in these peoples’ minds.

Following, because I’d like to understand this mindset, too.

Conspiracy theorists love stuff like this. It feeds their paranoia.
