Are pure white race babies better looking than mixed race babies?

Asked by Adirondackwannabe (36713points) May 6th, 2013

It makes sense doesn’t it that unadulterated babies would look better than some mongrel halfbreed kids. And if anyone takes this seriously l will find you.

Once they are crispily fried, they all look the same.

Only when they grow up to be pure white women. #racism #YOLO #wheredawhitewomenat

I have an aesthetic affinity for tiny Asian babies. Little delicate features, sharply contrasted porcelain skin and ebony hair.

Mine certainly were! No question about it.
There weren’t as cute as kittens though.

All mixed babies are gorgeous and white babies are not. You have it backwards.~

I never think about it that way. But, there is something doll like about Asian babies. Pretty much babies with a full head of dark hair are especially attractive I think. But, then I like adults with dark hair also.

Funny, my MIL talked about how one grandchild of hers wasn’t very cute when first born, and I thought she was supercute. She was a big baby with dark curly hair. Maybe since dark hair is so common in her family she analyzes how the child looks differently than me? There are studies that people can tell people apart in their own race easier than people from other races. We analyze how they look differently, from our own perspectives. Not everyone, but they found some statistical significance.

All babies are ugly. The white ones all seem to bear a slight resemblance to Winston Churchill.

The idea of “pure” is complete nonsense. There is no such thing.

… and the smartest, too! But it’s not racist to say any of this, is it?

They are the palest, for sure.

Seems to me that mixed race babies are the best looking ones. Unless they’re females. Then they’re too dumb to be cute.

Just looked in to see if anyone was taking this too serious

This is on topic and humorous. My favorite line in it is “These are an acquired taste.” BUT the article is not in the same vein as mentioned by @ragingloli

LOLL @rojo! Here’s one for you. My grandson. He’s ALL kinda mixed up! Asian, Mexican, honkey (from me.) He wants to be an migrant itinerant worker when he grows up, as you can see by his picture. I got a patent on that one! :)

I prefer plaid or paisley babies.

@Dutchess_III LOL..too dumb to be cute.

@Dutchess_III He’s going to be a lady killer when he grows up.

Humans are humans regardless the color of their skin or ethnic group. Babies are cute no matter what.

I prefer baby gorillas and chimps, pups and kittens, oh and baby elephants are cute too, but human babies naaaaah uuugly little things but we cant help loving them :)

Dutchess_III's avatar

@RachelMV Not all babies are cute. When the twins were born, 5 weeks early, this last January they both looked like ET! But they’re cute now. :)

@Dutchess_III I agree. When my son was born, he looked like Yoda. I used to get in trouble with my MIL for pulling his ears out and saying “Hmmm, ugly he is” in my best Yoda imitation.

When the twins hit about 2 months I told my daughter, “They’re starting to look like real babies!”
She said, “MOM! They ARE real babies!”
