The kind of music skinny white kids from the suburbs listen to because they think nobody understands them and that their life is so hard.

The lead singer kind of sounds like the guy from Panic! At the Disco.

Yeah, I’d say emo as well.

Back when I was growing up “emo” sounded more like indie/punk style music with metal screamo vocals. This doesn’t sound like that, unless the genre had completely changed.

Emo is lyric content/meaning, not the actual style of the music. Most Emo music tends to be punk or heavy metal though.

Sounds like christian rock to me.
