Are you near any body of water? Could you combine a picnic with some sort of boat ride—anything from a tour of the harbor to a pedalboat on the lake or a canoe trip on the river?

Don’t wait until you are 40+years old before trying adventurous things like sky diving,rafting,balloon ride,riding in a helicopter ,rock climbing,play a guitar or other instrument,learn a new language etc ( obtain gift certificates).

Late in my forties I went Skydiving,Rafting class 4,hiking mountains,bike riding trails,
been on a hovercraft (single one)before they outlawed it for the public etc

Are you into picnicking with your partner in one of the refuges in your area? Or how about a nice dinner then play one of the sexy games were you have to draw cards and do various acts with your partner? Maybe with a small bottle of wine?

How about a one or two-night stay at a nice little bed & breakfast? I did that for one of my 0-ending birthdays years ago and had a ball.

No birthday is complete without a good spanking to start things off right. Follow up with a good deed to the community, like volunteering to walk a couple of dogs at the local Humane Society. Then go out later and be really devilish, partaking in all sorts of unseemly acts, both public and private.

Sit on your roof under the stars to usher in your birthday..that is of course weather permitting. Have a picnic. Go for a hike. Go to the beach. Go for a car ride. Go window shopping. Every year for my birthday I go to the dentist. Self loathing makes you do funny things.

I love to just spend time with my husband. Since you don’t have much money and building on @Adirondackwannabe and @Pachyderm_In_The_Room‘s ideas, what about borrowing a tent and some camping gear from friends and taking off for the weekend. Go hiking together. Take photos. Cook over a camp fire. Star watch. If you play guitar, sing songs together. Sing daggy songs on the trip to wherever you camp. Have a fun time.

Okay, okay. When I said I wanted ideas for something to do for my birthday..I meant that could also include my friends. They’re not staying at a hotel with me. Half of them hate camping. And they’re not going to come all the way out here to look at the stars.

I don’t really want to play any sexy games with them either. My girlfriend might frown upon that.

My actual birthday falls on a Tuesday. I won’t be celebrating it until my day off. A Sunday, because everybody is busy on Mondays.
