Question about an Etsy item that I haven't received?
I ordered and paid for an item and was I notified that it was shipped on May 10th. It was shipped from Utah and sent to Michigan. I haven’t received anything, yet. I am thinking that it was shipped using standard delivery ($3).
I contacted the seller a few days ago, but have not heard anything.
Is it unusual for an item to take that long? It’s only from Utah to Michigan.

Do you have a tracking number?
That’s funny I ordered an item also from Etsy which is coming from utah and it has been delayed, but I am in canada. It was sent on Friday night and when I checked 2 seconds ago the last update was that it was may 22 and still in utah. Holy whats the hold up, I’d also like to know?
I’m not an Etsy fan. The one product I ordered, a rather expensive bar of soap, took weeks to arrive and turned out to be a different soap. Also, I can’t get off their email list. I finally had to filter their endless promotional messages to my trash folder.
@Mama_Cakes are you sure there is no tracking number? Thats odd, I have never ordered something from Etsy without a tracking number. The number should be in your account under “Purchases”.

I’ll give her a few more days to respond, if she doesn’t, I’ll open a case. Looks as though with her latest feedback, she didn’t receive the item either.
If the expected shipment date is long gone do yourself and her business a favor by rating it as well as calling PayPal and filing for a dispute/claim. When you call PayPal say, “Representative” during the automated message. This is what I recently had to do. A smart ass eBayer wasn’t responding to messages from not only me so I opened a case. I’m still on about day 3 out of 10 but yeah they’ll get your back. What is the link to that Etsy user? It was last in Michigan which is a good sign at least it’s not stuck in Utah.

According to this, she shipped it on the same day that I purchased it? Perhaps, she clicked off that she shipped but hasn’t done it, yet. There is no tracking number available, here or at Paypal.
I have only had one deal with Etsy and it was not a happy one. I ordered and paid for a baby quilt. I never received it or heard a word from the seller despite numerous attempts to contact her. I filed a complaint with Etsy and PayPal. Both conducted their little investigations and ended up telling me, bad luck. I will never deal with Etsy again. I do still use PayPal because it seems like still the best method for payment, especially on Ebay. I hope you have better luck.
Just heard back from the seller. Everything worked out.
