What should I bring on a school trip to Universal Studios?

Asked by connor_ (22points) May 25th, 2013

Hi! I am going to a school trip overnight next week, I can’t wait to go!

I wonder and wanted to know of what should I bring?

The bus is going to be very cold.

I might get on water rides or just rides. So any clothes of what should I bring? and etc.

Should I bring snacks like chips, candy and etc..?

It’s going from 5:30am to 12:00am
Any suggestions? Thanks. (: (Please answer)

A bathing suit and towel aren’t a bad idea if you might go on the water rides. Cool clothing and sun screen are a must for being out in the sun all day. I am not sure of their rules on bringing outside food, but you probably can find that online. Most amusement parks do not allow outside food. Definitely make sure you have a good amount of money if you can’t take your own food because food in amusement parks is expensive and you might want to by souvenirs.

Take a water bottle. A small backpack might help. Take a second t shirt in case your first gets wet. And some tennies, not flip flops, because you will be on your feet all day.

Healthy snacks are okay to take, and cheaper. But you can get plenty to eat if you have the money.

Oh, and do not take the backpack on a water ride, put it somewhere safe like a locker.

Have fun! IS this the Universal in Los Angeles or Florida?

@zenvelo it’s in Florida which I live! :)

Take a backpack with extra clothes and a plastic bag for wet clothes. People do not usually wear swimming suits on the water rides.

Take lots of money for food if it’s not supplied by the school.

Also take at least two bottles of water. The secret to having fun is to stay hydrated.

I don’t think anyone mentioned a hat or a cap. To keep the sun off your head. Have fun! You sound so excited.

Don’t take valuables. Leave special jewellery and precious things at home. Think about whether you really need your phone? It might get wet or lost.

Are you going to universal, or universal islands of adventure?
You’re more likely to get wet at islands of adventure, especially if you go on the Jurassic Park ride! :)
They sell waterproof ponchos if you’re worried about getting wet.
You should dry out in no time though in that Florida sun.
I’d suggest you wear clothes with zip pockets also, because I lost my phone on the duelling dragons ride. If flew out of my shorts pocket.

Nothing @connor_ except you might lose it and if it matters to you, you don’t want that to happen. So better to leave things you really care about at home. Such places often attract thieves too so just be cautious. Have fun! Are you into roller coasters? I love them!

Pro tip: wear cargo pants with a zipper pocket. In that pocket goes your wallet in a Ziploc bag, your sunglasses, and phone, also in a Ziploc.

Anything else will just bog you down. Also, since it’s secured in a zipper pocket, you won’t have to worry about lockers. Time and money.

Universal has a meal deal. All you can eat in most of the restaurants for $20. You buy it at one of the gift shops as soon as you get in the park.
