Sometimes when I sneeze I catch a cramp in my chode...

Asked by Xilas (830points) July 1st, 2013

Has anyone else ever had this happen to them? It is really odd and intense. It happens to me at-least once a year for the past 10 years…

To avoid a free for all of confusion; First let me define the area in which I am talking about (the area between the testicles and the anus) or for a female (the area between the vagina and anus)

I have loosely used the term chode to point out this area – this area has many names and to some it doesn’t even seem to exist.

Edit: Fluther deleted this question years ago and told me I could ask it later, I never got a real answer and I’m still curious what could cause this or if anyone has ever dealt with this issue.

I didnt even realize I had a chode, until now.

First, a “chode” is a penis that is thicker than it is long. The area between the testicles or vagina and the anus is called the perineum. Slang terms include taint or gooch.

Secondly, to answer your question: nope, I’ve never experienced this. But if it’s been happening for 10 years, I doubt it’s anything to worry about. I’m sure it has something to do with the pressure of the sneeze and/or the muscles working hard to expel the sneeze.

@livelaughlove21 is right, and this made my laugh like crazy XD

I have experienced this once in my life (thank goodness it was only once. It hurts!). I don’t know what brought it on but I haven’t had it since.

I have consulted Dr Google. He informs me this is possibly a case of Proctalgia Fugax. I can’t find out whether it can be triggered by sneezing. You can perhaps research further or if it happens fairly often, speak to your real doctor about it.

May you not be revisited by a pain in the arse…

Whoever told you that was your chode, was playing a trick on you.

I have a powerful sneeze, and every once in a while, depending on how I’m standing, sitting or reclining, one will cause a brief, sometimes painful tug, twinge, pull or ping in one part of my body or another. After all, everything in your body is connected to something else, which in turn is connected to something else… etc. I doubt you have anything to worry about.

I always thought that area was the taint. Taint your butt and taint your junk.

First I didn’t have one, then I thought I had one and as it turns out, I don’t even have a chode.

think I can do without

Holy shit! I’m cracking up right now.

I’ve always heard it was called a Taint. Chode/Chode Smoker is something I’ve only ever heard on Beavis and Butthead.

Also, I was not aware that women had a taint. I just assumed it was a man thing. lol
I guess you really do learn something new every day. Huh.

@livelaughlove21 It’s a regional term is what I recently learned. A chode to me always meant the area between ballsack and anus, but other people use it to mean what you said.

@Xilas YOU ASKED THIS QUESTION YEARS AGO AND I LAUGHED SO HARD AT THE TIME TOO. Still laughing now. I think it’s the way it’s phrased.

@livelaughlove21 I meant the opposite of what I said. I thought it was a stocky penis, but some people refer to the “taint” as a chode as well. Weird wordz

Yes, but only after having two kids. Have you squeezed out any small humans lately?
