How would I go about setting up the driving on road test?

Asked by Emeraldisles5 (160points) July 23rd, 2013

I could have had my license months ago. How in the world would I set it up to take my road test at the DMV? I am so confused by this. I got nothing through the driving school, and I am utterly confused.

Call the clerk at the DMV office and ask her this question. Driving school staff have the answers; if you paid for the course, call them also and be firm. It is a very straightforward question.

There is a location (in my case, the local police barracks) and a schedule to sign up on. Then you (and your adult in the passenger seat) simply show up at the right time and place.

Or go online. MY local (county) DMV website has a clear link that reads “How to schedule a road test.”

Driving school doesn’t have much to do with the licensing. Gail gave you good advice. Just call or go to the DMV for your county and schedule a time. Then you just show up at the site where they the tests start from. It’ll probably be a parking lot or the side of the road somewhere.

Call the DMV and tell them that you want to schedule the test.

Allright thank you. Driving school is overwhelmingly busy.
