Why do you imagine somebody threw green paint on the Lincoln Memorial?

I have given up trying to imagine the “why” for a lot most of the craziness in the world. I’d be interested to hear the person’s alleged reasons, in that person’s own words, but I’m not going to try to guess at the reasons from here.

That’s pretty much what I think too. Some people are simply irredeemable losers.

I was wondering why the hell someone would do such a thing. I never understand vandelism. I wonder if it had anything to do with making a statement about Lincoln, or if it was attention seeking? Whoever did it is a miserable person.

At least paint is cleaned with with some chemicals or a pressure washer. At least they didn’t use a chisel.

Probably out of frustration with the daily reality that we all live with, and clearly, whoever did this has no respect for history or what our history represents to us.
