You could try this art site.
Or I found this site that links you to 125 places to sell your art.

Yeah, Etsy is your best bet. You can’t beat the traffic it guarantees you.

I’m building MikaMaya.com for a Boston artist. She’ll be opening it for sales soon. We’re doing the final touches on it now. But she’s done very well previously selling her work on Rosenberry Rooms.

Etsy is definitely what you should use. There is a former Fluther user who has his own Etsy store for selling his artwork. It’s great!

If you do 2-dimensional art (paintings, drawings, computer-graphics) you can sell prints on Deviantart, without losing the originals.

A friend of mine has sold several paintings and drawings on EBay.

First get yourself a website. Very few orphans sell online and often a commission for a major painter comes from a well designed website.

I’m not a fan of any art sales sites. I see a lot of junk. This is very difficult to express because my personal experience evolved from an artist who sold their work while still in art school and had a name established by the time he was ready for a group exhibition at a major art gallery and then single artist exhibitions.

Galleries take 40%, commissions pay the rent.

I would not suggest Etsy. It’s for crafts and artisan work. I have a friend who is a painter who has been on Etsy for years and hasn’t sold a single painting.
