Is a Pinto the world's sweetest car?

Asked by aaronou (735points) June 19th, 2008

I own Pintos in every color made, and I think there could not possibly be a sweeter looking ride.

You own one in every color made? That’s over 15 cars.

My first car was a gold 1972 Ford Pinto hatchback. Sweet.

mmm… the sweetest car for me is actually the 1958 Ferrari 250 GT California, too bad it costs like circa 5.5 million today :( you see, a ferrari over the time is a great investment!

My parents had a green one when I was growing up. One time I was closing one of the gates (we lived on a farm) and as I closed the gate early it ripped the back bumper off as my mom was driving through.

Luckily she has a good sense of humor and thought it was funny. My dad, he didn’t think that it was funny. Hello, belt.

My second car in high school, after my psychotic brother-in-law wrecked my ‘71 Ford Econoline van, was a ‘75 Mustang. $750. It was basically a Pinto with a far uglier body style, and it burned to the frame one evening after a trip to the beach.
The world’s sweetest car will always be the Nash Metropolitan. I love them, love them, love them.

My father gave me his ‘72 Pinto Hatchback, but he neglected to tell me one thing- It does’nt handle well on pavement.
