Do you know a good alternative to PayPal? I just got charged a huge fee for a transaction with them. I am fed up with PP?

Before I answer, I’d like to say this: PayPal is one of the best services on the internet, you just have to read the fine print before you use it.

Anyway, the closest thing that I know of is Google Checkout. However, it’s not quite the same — you cannot do person-to-person payments, and you cannot store funds on it.

I don’t know, are you?

I distrust PayPal, they allowed someone to access a, “Trust Fund”. The money was refunded and PP “settled”. During the investigation, it was found that this wasn’t an isolated incidence. In fact, it happens often but unheard because PP choses to “settle” avoiding adverse media.

Seems that Amazon is starting up their own “Amazon Payments” service: http://payments.amazon.com/

Can’t vouch for it, but it’s one worth looking into.
