If anyone is a fan of Black Butler, what do you think of Claude and Alois?

I’m not a fan but I am wondering if it’s any good.
I just watched Sword Art Online and don’t know what to do now that it’s over.
So I need to find a new show :)
Any you would recommend?

@Kairi I agree with you about Alois and Claude. Though I would say “like” and not “love.”

@monochromatic – I would recommend “Death Note,” “Baccano,” most any of the “Tenchi Muyo” series, “Darker Than Black,” “Moribito” and “Stein’s Gate.” My husband would insist that you watch “Neon Genesis Evangelion.”

If neither of you are members of The Anime Networ, I suggest that you join. They show a lot of anime for free. You have to wait longer than a premium subscriber to get current episodes, but if you just need an anime fix, it’s there.

@tedibear I’m a cheapsgate so i usually use crunchyroll cuz it’s free on my roku :p but it something i get excited to watch isn’t on there my day is ruined so I’ll check it out :) thank you

@monochromatic I haven’t watched SAO yet, but people keep recommending it to me.

My favorite is always Loveless, but like @tedibear said, I also recommend Death Note, and Baccano. also FullMetal Alchemist, Vampire Knight, and rave Master. (though Rave is short). Not to mention, Code Geass. :)

@monochromatic and Deadman Wonderland and Future Diary, if you like bloody anime too. K Project was good too (I watch a TON of anime XD)

Yes to Fullmetal Alchemist and Code Geass. Also, if you like something light, Antique Bakery and Ristorante Paradiso were fun. There’s also an anime version of The Count of Monte Cristo that’s pretty decent.

@tedibear I’ve heard of the anime version of The Count of Monte Cristo before, but I never got to see it. I’ll check it out some time.

and for anyone that doesn’t mind only having a Japanese audio track, check out Magical Madoka Girl. Pulla Magica Madoka Magi, I believe is the full title. it’s an interesting one

I’ve seen a few of these and liked them:) so i trust both of your judgements in the anime department! As for SAO the show was good and the characters were amazing but the concept kept me entertained because as a gamer if you could give me a game that felt that real my mind would explode with happiness:D

@monochromatic Awesome :D a couple of my friends cosplay from SAO. I might check it out when I get the chance (I have to finish season one of Black Butler first cuz I only own/have seen the entirety of season two)

@Kairi It would be fun to cosplay as :) but I never have anyone to go with to the events so I avoid.
And the second I finish hunter x hunter i guess I’ll check out Black Butler,or loveless. Maybe even Death Note, it got popular but I never checked it out.

@monochromatic ah ok, I gotcha. I go with my boyfriend and friends, or random friends that I drag to the local con cuz he’s banned from it. I just got into Death Note earlier this year, myself. an extensive anime collector got me into it. I just finished the first live action movie. it was awesome! If you do get into Loveless, I suggest watching the English version of the anime first. it makes the last episode so much easier to understand XD

I love the seasons 1 and 1.5 but I am not a huge fan of Alois and Cladue. Alois is not even in the manga, I don’t understand why they couldn’t follow the storyline. It made me quite mad. If anything they should have went on with Undertaker like they did in the manga. I don’t want to spoil anything for those of you who have yet to read the manga.

@monochromatic check out hulu plus minus the stupid commercials, between that and crunchyroll you will have access to tons of anime.

Psycho-Pass it is like the perfect mix of both series

They really should continue with the manga, honestly. I’m not sure why they didn’t. But I still love Alois/Claude <3 (I know a bit of the Undertaker stuff from spoilers, but not all of it)

I watch on dubbed-scene.com. no commercials. or at least there may be one in the beginning of the video but that’s it.

I haven’t heard of Psycho-Pass before. I’ll give it a try ^^

Did you guys know that a third anime season will be coming out? Black Butler: Book of Circus. What do you guys think?

The circus arc? Alright! I knew it was coming out but I didn’t know the name. Awesome

Black Butler Book of Circus, so far is kind of interesting. I am seeing that some parts are following the manga. However there are only 6–8 chapters dedicated to the circus. So it will be interesting to see how they will extend it into a whole season.

I have to get to watching that, now that I have a new laptop with a working screen. Ive heard good things.

The funimation website has just release the Black Butler OVA and it has both seasons and is currently airing Book of Circus. The new episodes come out on Thursdays.

People on the fanpage I admin on fb for Black Butler keep posting screenshots. I never have time to watch though :/
